A History to be Shared
Join your Local Guide for an insightful tour of Sarajevo and hear about pivotal moments in its history, including the assassination of the Archduke of Austria in 1914 and the Bosnian War. Visit the Sarajevo Tunnel for a fascinating look at some of this country’s trials and triumphs. (B)
Tour Highlight: The Sarajevo tunnel is also known as the Tunnel of Hope and was used between 1992 and 1995 during the Bosnian War It was a vital lifeline for the besieged city, used to transport food, medical supplies, and weapons. It also allowed the movement of people, including soldiers, medical personnel, and essential workers. The tunnel played a crucial role in maintaining the city's defence and the morale of its residents.
Day 3
SARAJEVO–KONJIC–MOSTAR
Fairytale amid the Peaks
Stop in the charming town of Konjic situated on the banks of the Neretva River. Continue your journey on to Mostar and join your Local Guide to hear about the turbulent history of this interesting city. (B)
Tour Highlight: Admire the old bridge in Mostar, the city’s symbol, ordered by Suleiman the Magnificent, the Ottoman ruler in 1566, to replace the older wooden bridge.

MOSTAR–KRAVICA WATERFALLS–SPLIT, CROATIA

Today, take the chance to visit Kravica Waterfalls, one of the country's most stunning natural attractions. Then, continue to Split where dinner at a local restaurant awaits. (B, D)
Tour Highlight: Stroll the spectacular site of Kravica waterfalls with several magical cascades flowing from the Trebizat River. Follow your Local Guide to learn the story behind the town’s name, Kravica meaning ‘little cow,’ and how the story’s happy ending became the town’s name. (We won’t spoil it just yet.)
Day 5
SPLIT–BRAČ
Natural Treasures
Board the ferry for the island of Brač, a hidden gem of the Dalmatian region of Croatia. Join your Local Guide for a tour of the town followed by a visit to the island’s museum and a tasting of the local olive oil. (B)
Tour Highlight: Brač is an oasis of peace, as big as Malta and yet with population of only about 14,000 people. Villages are surrounded by olive groves and vineyards, while the rest of the island is covered with beautiful pine forests. Enjoy the view of the Dalmatian coast during the ferry crossing and learn from the locals about the treasured Brač stone—a symbol of the island of Brač since ancient times. A natural treasure for centuries, the Brač stone is treasured for use in a variety of works of art, from jewellery to monumental world buildings, including the White House in Washington, D.C.

BRAC–HVAR
Islands in a Dream
Today travel by ferry to another jewel, the island of Hvar. Join your Local Guide for a tour of the town and stunning views of the town, harbour, and surrounding islands from the fortress. (B, D)

Lavender Fields Forever

Travel to the island of Ston and visit an oyster farm followed by a tasting. (B)
