Itinerary Details

Day 1: Southampton, England

Set in the scenic English county of Hampshire, Southampton is a lively waterfront city where rich maritime history meets modern attractions. Whether you explore its historic districts or contemporary areas, Southampton promises a charming experience for every visitor.

Day 2-3: At Sea

Day 4: Alesund, Norway

Sailing through Norway’s glass-like waters on route to Alesund, you’ll be struck by a sweeping peninsula of Art Nouveau architecture, stretching to lush greenery, where mountain peaks reach skyward, reflected in the converging fjords. Arriving in Alesund, you could be forgiven for thinking you’d stepped off your ship into the pages of a fairy-tale. A myriad of towering spires and decorative turrets, it’s easy to see why this vibrant fishing port is regarded as one of the prettiest cities in Norway.

Day 5: At Sea

Day 6-7: Tromso, Norway

Whilst sailing to Tromso, you’ll encounter Mother Nature at her most spectacular. Surrounded by unspoiled wilderness, glass-like fjords, and towering snow-capped mountains, every vista here offers something else to savour. The sky above Tromso can also be a truly breathtaking spectacle when the dramatic northern lights dance across the sky during dark winter nights.

In summer, the midnight sun never sets on this bustling city, famous for its vibrant nightlife. The crisp, clear days give way to long, bright nights, filled with hiking, fishing, or simply a warming cup of tea as you watch the locals go about their day.

Day 8-9: Narvik, Norway

Rugged mountains meet rippling blue fjords on a cruise to Narvik, Norway. A favourite destination for keen skiers, the snowy peaks here glide gently downward towards stretches of white sandy beaches that surround the port itself. Lying 137 miles inside the Arctic Circle, Narvik may be one of the world’s most northerly towns, but the North Atlantic currents and the mountains that shelter the town make it surprisingly mild. A serene and welcoming region, Narvik is a magical gateway to rich culture, exquisite food, wildlife, and a dramatic Norwegian landscape.

Day 10: At Sea

Day 11: Stavanger, Norway

Norway's Stavanger is not only blessed with compelling history, but also a natural beauty. From the ancient port, the city radiates across a network of islands which are connected by graceful bridges.Your guide to Stavanger.

Once the European Capital of Culture, the Norwegian city of Stavanger is blessed with a compelling history and unbridled beauty effortlessly blending the old with the new. From its ancient port the city fans out along a network of islands, each one connected to its neighbour by an elegant bridge. In Gamle Stavanger (the historic centre) artists’ workshops still occupy 18th century houses, much as they did in years gone by. It’s a wonderful chance to step back in time and immerse in the Stavanger of old, while the city’s museums shed light on Stavanger’s long-standing relationship to the sea.

Day 12: At Sea

Day 13: Southampton, England
