  • Itinerary

    Day 1 Location: Broome
Welcome to Broome! Or Rubibi, in the language of the Yawuru people, who are the Traditional Custodians of the land on which Broome is now located. Get an early start on your adventure this morning as you travel through the remote Kimberley landscape. After crossing the Fitzroy River, visit the 1500-year-old Boab Prison Tree in Derby, then continue along the Gibb River Road to Windjana Gorge, found within the Napier Range. Over 350 million years old, this natural landscape boasts towering gorge walls, freshwater crocodiles and plenty of local birdlife. Tonight, settle into camp near Windjana Gorge and watch as the stars come alive, away from the city lights.
Day 2 Location: Bandiln͟gan (Windjana Gorge) National Park
The morning, after the campsite is packed up, is devoted to exploring Tunnel Creek. Spend time exploring the 750-m cave system, learning about the legend of Jandamarra, searching for stalactites and looking out for the cave’s resident freshwater crocodiles. In the afternoon, depart for Bell Gorge (Dalmanyi), a largely unknown highlight of the West Kimberleys, which boasts waterfalls and clear-water pools formed millions of years ago. Hike to the falls and enjoy a few hours of rest and relaxation by the water before setting off to tonight’s campsite at Silent Grove.
    Day 3 Location: Manning Gorge
Today’s adventure starts with a swim at Adcock Gorge. After a short walk to the pools, spend time cooling off in the waterfall, lounging on the rock ledges or going in search of the nearby waterlilies. Your afternoon will be spent visiting another of the West Kimberley’s gorges – Galvans Gorge. After a short bushwalk, dive into the cool waters and sit underneath the falls for a natural back massage. Then, explore the rock walls beside the main pool, where you’ll find Wandjina rock art. Tonight, arrive at Mt Barnett Station campground, where you’ll stay for the next two nights.
    Day 4 Location: Manning Gorge
It’s an early start today to make the most of the walking trail to Manning Gorge and Falls. There’s plenty of time for swimming, relaxing and soaking up the sights and sounds of the Kimberleys, while you enjoy morning tea prepared by your leader. Return for lunch back at camp, then enjoy an afternoon of free time. You might like to find a nice spot to read and relax or enjoy the nearby creek for another swim before another camp dinner.
Day 5 Location: El Questro Station
Say goodbye to the West Kimberley gorges as you journey through the centre of the Kimberleys to El Questro Wilderness Park. Prepare for a long day of driving over 600km through the rough terrain of the Kimberleys via the Gibb River Road. It’s a bit of a travel day, so have your favourite book, podcast or music on hand. Or, simply sit back and enjoy the vast remote stretches of the Outback. Today’s drive will be broken up with plenty of stops to stretch your legs, get lunch and see local sights like the Pentecost River Lookout. After a river crossing or two, arrive at tonight’s accommodation where you have the option to have dinner at the El Questro restaurant and a drink at the Swinging Arm Bar.
Day 6 Location: El Questro Station
Over the next few days, you’ll explore the many gorges and hikes of the El Questro Station. Today’s adventure includes two hikes to nearby gorges. The first, Emma Gorge, involves a bit of careful rock hopping through the bush with the payoff being a droplet waterfall and watering hole, surrounded by greenery-lined rock walls. The next destination, the El Questro Gorge, offers a short and a long walk. The short walk takes you through the Livistona palms rainforest, across the creek to the halfway pool, where you’ll be able to swim. From here, the longer trail begins, becoming more challenging but well worth the effort as you reach the cool Mac Micking pool and falls for a swim. Finish off the day with a soak at the Zebedee Thermal Springs, surrounded by an ancient forest of palm trees and gentle waterfalls.
Day 7 Location: El Questro Station
This morning, set off for another scenic hike in the El Questro Park. Wander along the Amalia Gorge Trail, where you’ll rock scramble across sandstone slabs and creek beds to reach the pools. Bring your swimsuit to enjoy a well-earned dip in the water, then continue your hike and return to camp. After, you have several ways to spend your last afternoon at El Questro. Choose to either relax at the resort, enjoy time exploring the park or take up one of the optional activities, including a cruise at Chamberlain Gorge, a bush tucker walk or a bird watching tour.
    Day 8 Location: Kununurra
Today you’ll pack up and head to the town of Kununurra, with a stop at the Parry Lagoons Nature Reserve to see hundreds of waterbirds, including herons, spoonbills and magpie geese. This afternoon, you’ll have time to get some washing done or relax with a book while your crew buy plenty of fresh food for the next section of the trip. Tonight, you’re free to enjoy a drink at the pub or drop into a local restaurant for dinner.
    Day 9 Location: Kununurra
Known as the ‘Mini Bungles’, Mirima National Park is your first stop today with plenty of time to stop and appreciate the colourful layered rock formations created more than 300 million years ago. Lunch is at your own expense today and this afternoon there is the option to join a river cruise down the Ord River to the Dam Wall.
Day 10 Location: Purnululu National Park
Hit the road for Purnululu National Park – one of three natural UNESCO World Heritage sites in Western Australia – and get set for a drive along outback tracks with creek crossings, wash aways and rough, slow sections. After setting up camp, there’s time for a stroll before your leader takes you to the perfect spot to watch the sunset against the red rocks of the Bungle Bungles Range. Grab a drink and enjoy one of the state’s most famous sights as the rocks change colour.
Day 11 Location: Purnululu National Park
This morning, you could take an optional helicopter flight for a birds-eye view over the beehive domes. Later, you’ll explore Echidna Chasm, known for its towering Livistonia palm trees. Set off on the Echidna Chasm Walk, following the steep-sided gorge walls with shades of oranges and reds that glow when the sun hits them. Next up is the Mini Palms Gorge walk. After, you’ll spend the night at camp and rest those weary legs.
    Day 12 Location: Larrawa Station
This morning, you'll be welcomed to Country by a local Aboriginal guide. Then, head off on a walk through the domes as you learn about bush tucker and bush medicine. Continuing into Cathedral Gorge, your guide will tell tales of how Countrymen would walk the country you’re walking. As you enter the gorge, your guide will share the space with you in their cultural way, whether that be through drawing, singing or storytelling. Then, it’s time to pack up and drive to Larrawa Station for the last night of your Kimberleys adventure. Tonight, join your group and celebrate the trip with a drink and dinner at Larrawa Station campground.
    Day 13 Location: Broome
Break camp after breakfast and drive to Fitzroy Crossing. Take a walk down to the banks of the Fitzroy River before continuing the drive to Broome, where your trip will come to an end upon arrival at approximately 4 pm. It’s recommended that you book another night in Broome before flying out, as delays may occur. Once in Broome, your leader will drop you at your nominated accommodation or back at the default starting location.

    Physical preparation

This trip has been classed 4 out of 5 due to its overall physical demand. Due to the remote nature of the Kimberley region we use bush camps with limited facilities on most nights, and you are expected to participate in daily camp duties. Drives between destinations on this trip can be very long, on rough roads, with frequent very early mornings. This trip includes hikes of moderate difficulty over uneven and rocky terrain, often in high temperatures. Temperatures can be extreme late in the season (August onwards), at which time they can reach the mid to late 30s (C) and it can be quite humid. In May, June and July day time temperatures are usually very pleasant, but in the evenings they can fall to below 5 degrees (C). Please read the daily itinerary carefully to find out more about the daily activities so you can assess your own physical ability. We reserve the right to assess the fitness capability of passengers prior to and during tour departure.

It is essential that all our groups leave the camp they stay in as they found them for the next travellers - the Kimberley is a pristine wilderness and it is our responsibility to ensure it stays this way. DIETARY REQUIREMENTS It is very important that you advise us of any dietary requirements and allergies at least 2 weeks prior to departure. We need this information well ahead of time to be able to organise catering for the trip. Group leader

All group trips are accompanied by one of our group leader or local representative. The aim of the group leader or local representative is to take the hassle out of your travels and to help you have the best trip possible. Intrepid endeavours to provide the services of an experienced group leader or local representative however, due to the seasonality of travel, rare situations may arise where your group leader or local representative is new to a particular region or training other group leader or local representative. Your group leader or local representative will provide information on the places you are travelling through, offer suggestions for things to do and see, recommend great local eating venues and introduce you to our local friends. While not being guides in the traditional sense, you can expect them to have a broad general knowledge of the places visited on the trip, including historical, cultural, religious, and social aspects. At Intrepid we aim to support local guides who have specialised knowledge of the regions we visit. If you are interested in delving deeper into the local culture at a specific site or location then your group leader or local representative can recommend a local guide service in most of the main destinations of your trip.

Spend two days exploring the untamed natural beauty of El Questro Station. Go swimming near tumbling waterfalls, hike through gorges and soak up the scenery your way.

Follow the footsteps of an expert local leader who knows the area inside-out, meaning all you have to do is enjoy the journey.

Enjoy the great outdoors with camping equipment provided by us, like stretcher beds with a mattress, shared 190-cm-high tents and comfortable camping chairs.

Is this trip right for you

This trip involves plenty of walking over varied terrain and is best suited to travellers with a good level of mobility. A reasonable level of fitness and being sure on your feet is necessary to participate. Good footwear (hiking boots with ankle support and closed-toe water shoes), clothing for all types of weather (sun protection and warm layers for the evening), plus perhaps walking poles are recommended for extra stability on uneven rocky terrain. Details on physical activities can be found in the daily itinerary., The itinerary may change depending on local conditions and weather., You will camp almost every night in designated campgrounds, staying between one and three nights at each location. At some campgrounds you will be required to set up your tent. All of the camping equipment you need is provided, so all you need to bring is your sleeping bag, pillow, pillowcase and botom sheet. Facilities are basic.

    Health

GENERAL HEALTH All travellers need to be in good physical health in order to participate fully on this trip. For the safety and wellbeing of yourself and others, if you are unwell prior to travelling, please stay at home and contact us to make alternative arrangements. When selecting your trip please make sure you have read through the itinerary carefully and assess your ability to manage and enjoy our style of travel. Please note that if in the assessment of our group leader or local representative a traveller is unable to complete the itinerary without undue risk to themselves and/or the rest of the group, we reserve the right to exclude them from all or part of a trip without refund. You should consult your doctor for up-to-date medical travel information or for any necessary vaccinations before departure. We recommend that you carry a first aid kit as well as any personal medical requirements in their original packaging as they may not easily be obtained while travelling. If you are carrying medication, ensure you check your government's foreign travel advice for any local restrictions or requirements.  , HYDRATION Daytime temperatures across Australia be extreme (especially from September to March) with temperatures over 40ºC (104ºF). Even for travellers familiar with these temperatures, it’s easy to become dehydrated. The key point to remember is not to wait until you’re thirsty, but to drink water regularly. Adding an electrolyte solution can aid in replenishing the salts/electrolytes lost when travelling at this time of year. You will be required to carry at least 1L of water per hour of walking., MEDICAL RESTRICTIONS As we operate in remote areas, guests will need to bring all of their own personal medications on tour. Whilst our guides are qualified in remote area or wilderness first aid and carry satellite phones, we do not carry epi-pens, Ventolin or other emergency medications. If a person requires urgent medical attention whilst on tour, it may take several hours or more for emergency services to attend the scene and take you to a medical facility. Under certain circumstances your tour consultant may request a medical certificate of fitness before you are cleared to participate on the tour. If pre-existing medical issues that will affect your ability to complete the tour or have an impact on other guests experiences, are not disclosed prior to the departure, we reserve the right to remove you from the tour.

    Food and dietary requirements

On most days, breakfast, lunch and dinner will be included. Your leader will prepare most of the meals whilst on tour. Please read the daily itinerary to find out what is included. Due to the often remote nature of our trips, food is basic but plentiful and delicious. PARTICIPATORY CAMPING Our tours are activity and participation based. During your travels with us you will have the opportunity to assist with daily activities such as setting up camp, helping prepare meals and clearing dishes. None of this is difficult however many hands make light work and any assistance provided to crew is always much appreciated. Most people agree that this type of activity helps you feel like less of a tourist and more of an explorer. DIETARY REQUIREMENTS All food for this trip is purchased and packed prior to your group leaving on day one. After we’ve left town it can be very difficult to source special dietary requests. Travellers with special dietary requirements or food allergies are required to advise us at the time of booking. You may be asked to pay for any additional food if you have not advised us of any special dietary requirements. Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any specific dietary concerns.

    Money matters

AUSTRALIA The official currency of Australia is the Australian dollar (AUD). Card payments, including digital card payments like Apple Pay, are the most common form of payment in Australia. Many vendors add a small surcharge for card payments. Cash is accepted in most places and ATMs are common., SPENDING MONEY When it comes to spending money on the trip, every traveller is a little different. You know your spending habits better than we do, so please budget an appropriate amount for things like optional meals, drinks, shopping, optional activities, and laundry. Make sure you have read the itinerary and inclusions thoroughly so you know what is included in the trip price and what you may need to pay for while travelling. , TIPPING Tipping is generally voluntary in Australia and is most commonly used to show appreciation for good service. Tipping is most common in the hospitality industry, especially at higher end restaurants and bars. If you choose to tip, the general rule is to add 10-15% to the bill. But these rules are just guidelines - feel free to tip however much or however little you feel comfortable with. After dining out, cash is left on the table, or in a tip jar at the counter. A tip can also be added to any cashless transaction that includes a tipping function. Taxi drivers won’t expect a tip, although it’s common to round up the fare to the nearest dollar. You do not need to tip hotel staff or local guides in Australia.  You may consider tipping your leader for outstanding service throughout your trip. The amount is entirely a personal preference, however as a guideline 4-6 AUD per person, per day can be used. , CONTINGENCY FUNDS We try to plan for every eventuality, but there are still some things beyond our control. We reserve the right to change an itinerary after departure due to local circumstances or a Force Majeure Event. In such emergency circumstances, the additional cost of any necessary itinerary alterations will be covered by you. We are not responsible for any incidental expenses that may be incurred because of changes to itineraries, including but not limited to visas, vaccinations or non-refundable flights. Make sure you have access to an extra USD 500 for emergencies (e.g. severe weather, natural disasters, civil unrest) or other events that result in unavoidable changes to the itinerary (e.g. transport strikes or cancellations, airport closures). Sometimes these things necessitate last-minute changes to enable our trips to continue to run, and as a result, there may be some extra costs involved. The recommended amount is listed in USD for the relatability of all travellers; however, local currency may be needed once in the country to cover these costs. Please confirm with your leader on Day 1 if you need to carry this in cash, or whether access via card or electronically is sufficient.

    What to take

LUGGAGE Be ready to manage your own luggage, including loading it on and off our vehicle and taking it from the vehicle to and from your tent or accommodation in each location. We recommend no more than 15kg for your main luggage in a soft-sided bag and no more than 7kg for your day pack. Below are some suggestions for packing for this trip. Check online for the expected weather to ensure you pack appropriately for the time of year you are travelling. ESSENTIALS It is essential that you bring a torch, shoes you don’t mind getting wet – and we mean fully immersed in water: ideally, closed-in wet shoes or old runners, a broad-brimmed hat with a sun visor for all-round protection, sunscreen, swimming costume and towel, good walking/trekking shoes and a personal water bottle. SLEEPING BAG You will also need to bring a good sleeping bag suitable to potential cold desert conditions (please check the prevailing weather conditions for the month you are planning to travel). Sleeping bags are available for hire – these must be requested with your sales agent prior to travel. RECOMMENDATIONS - Warm clothes for the evening (particularly if travelling May-Aug) - Personal toiletries and first aid, with any personal medication required - Re-usable coffee cup to reduce waste ALCOHOL Please note that you won’t have a chance to purchase alcohol after our departure from Broome. If you’d like to bring alcoholic drinks to have around the campfire, please buy them in Broome the day before. Please only bring cans, as glass bottles will break due to the corrugation on the Gibb River Road. Climate and seasonal

While much of Australia experiences a traditional four-season year, Australia’s north, including the Kimberley, has a tropical climate with a Wet Season (November to March/April) and a Dry Season (April/May to October). All of our tours in the north operate during ‘the Dry’, when it can get surprisingly cold overnight, depending on where you are — in Broome it can get down to 12ºC, while in the Bungle Bungles, it can fall as low as 5ºC! During the day, we usually enjoy a lovely 28 to 30ºC and clear skies. Please note that in recent years we have seen an increased number of days with unseasonal rain extending into the Dry Season, sometimes as late as June. Unseasonal rains can cause unexpected road closures, especially on the Gibb River Road and on unsealed roads accessing national parks, such as the Bungle Bungles. Should this occur please expect our itineraries to be rerouted rather than cancelled. Please make sure you come with an open mind. Also note that during September and October, as the Wet Season approaches, the temperatures increase accordingly and from this time, and throughout the Wet Season, it can be very hot and humid during the day. If you plan to travel at this time, it is essential that you are prepared for the tropical weather.

    A couple of rules

Intrepid won't tolerate any kind of violence, harassment (whether physical, verbal or sexual), or disrespect toward fellow travellers, our teams or local communities. To ensure the wellbeing of everyone on the trip, decisions made by your group leader are final. Romantic relationships between travellers and group leader or local representative are not permitted while on trip. Any behaviour that prevents your leader from continuing the itinerary as planned, breaks local laws or opposes any of these guidelines may result in Intrepid denying your booking or removing you from the trip. If something concerns you during your travels, please speak to your group leader immediately. Emergency contact

While we always endeavour to provide the best possible holiday experience, due to the nature of travel and the areas we visit sometimes things can and do go wrong. Should any issue occur while you are on your trip, it is imperative that you discuss this with your group leader or local representative straight away so that they can do their best to rectify the problem and save any potential negative impact on the rest of your trip. We recognise that there may be times when your group leader or local representative may not be able to resolve a situation to your satisfaction - if this is the case, please ask the group leader or local representative to speak to their direct manager. You may also choose to provide details in your online feedback, which we ask you to complete within 30 days of the end of your trip. Please do be aware that it is very difficult for us to provide any practical help after the trip is completed, so informing us while still travelling will give us the opportunity to resolve the issue in real-time., For general contact details please use the following page: https://www.intrepidtravel.com/contact-us, ALL general enquiry must be directed to our reservations team. In case of a GENUINE CRISIS OR EMERGENCY, or concerns about a missed pick-up on the day of departure ONLY (if applicable), you can reach our local office on the numbers listed below:, +61 (0)3 7036 7322

    Responsible travel

Our Responsible Travel Policy outlines our commitment to preserving the environment, supporting local communities, protecting the vulnerable, and giving back to the places we travel. All our trip leaders and local representatives, suppliers, and staff are trained on these principles and are core to us delivering sustainable, experience-rich travel. Explore the different parts of our Responsible Travel Policy by visiting: https://www.intrepidtravel.com/responsible-travel, RECONCILIATION ACTION PLAN As an Australian-owned business with a vision to change the way people see the world, Intrepid is committed to reconciliation and strengthening relationships between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and non-Indigenous peoples. While Intrepid might have done a lot to empower communities, businesses and our partners around the world over the years, there’s still a lot for us to do here at home. We are working towards a better, more inclusive and fairer Australia. You can find more information about our Reconciliation Action Plan here: https://www.intrepidtravel.com/reconciliation

    The Intrepid Foundation

Our non-profit, The Intrepid Foundation, gives travellers more opportunities to make a positive impact in the places they visit. We have over 50 Intrepid Foundation partners across the globe addressing four key focus areas: protecting the environment, taking a stand for wildlife, addressing inequality and empowering communities. Intrepid matches all post-trip donations dollar for dollar and takes care of the admin fees – this doubles your impact and ensures every cent goes to our partners on the ground. Visit our website for more info: http://www.theintrepidfoundation.org/ , This trip supports Country Needs People, who are supporting Indigenous land and sea management in Australia. Donations help them empower Indigenous communities to rehabilitate and protect places of significance on land and sea using traditional knowledge paired with modern technology. Intrepid will double your impact by dollar-matching post-trip donations made to The Intrepid Foundation. Transport notes

We operate our 4WD Kimberley trips in custom-built, 21-seat 4WD trucks with a PA system and built-in storage (no risky trailers!). These comfortable, strong remote area vehicles allow our small groups extra space (including standing room), are fully air-conditioned and fitted with adjustable air vents, reclinable seats, map pockets and footrests. It is important that when booking a 4WD outback adventure in the Kimberley, you understand that the roads we travel on can be heavily corrugated. Rest assured, these are the conditions for which our 4WD trucks are designed.

    Travel insurance

Travel insurance is compulsory on all our trips for those travelling internationally. We require that, at a minimum, you are covered for medical expenses, including emergency repatriation. If you are travelling within your home country or region, please confirm before travel that you are entitled to access the public medical system easily should an accident occur. We strongly recommend all travellers have a policy that also covers personal liability, cancellation, curtailment and loss of luggage or personal effects. For international trips, you will not be permitted to join the group until evidence of travel insurance and the insurance company's 24-hour emergency contact number has been sighted by your group leader or local representative. If you have credit card insurance, your group leader or local representative will require details of the participating insurer/underwriter, the level of coverage, policy number, and emergency contact number, rather than the bank's name and your credit card details. Please contact your bank for these details prior to arriving in-country. For travellers who reside within the European Union, Switzerland or the USA, the requirement to purchase travel insurance cannot be compulsory. However, the purchase of travel insurance is still highly recommended, and each country you visit may have its own specific entry requirements. For example, some mandate travel health insurance for all foreign travellers, regardless of their nationality. Travellers from the European Union, Switzerland or the USA who decline travel insurance when travelling outside their home region must sign a Travel Insurance Waiver Form at the Group Meeting, recognizing personal responsibility for emergency medical and repatriation costs should they arise. For assistance with travel insurance or other services, please visit the link below: , https://www.intrepidtravel.com/booking-resources/our-services, AUSTRALIANS TRAVELLING DOMESTICALLY Travel insurance will help ensure you’re protected in case of any unforeseen changes to your journey – such as flight cancellations or illness. For this reason, we recommend you purchase comprehensive domestic travel insurance for your trip. This may not be something you would have typically done in the past when travelling domestically in Australia, but it does offer you a number of benefits. While Australians and Australian Permanent Residents travelling within Australia are not required to be covered for hospital care due to being covered by Medicare, a comprehensive domestic travel insurance policy should cover you for expenses incurred. Domestic travel insurance plans may also include personal liability, cancellation, curtailment, loss of luggage and personal effects, and other benefits. It is also advisable that domestic travellers have current ambulance cover in the case of emergency evacuation or incidents requiring ambulance transportation. Please be sure to carefully check the policy’s inclusions with your preferred insurer.

    Your fellow travellers

As you travel on a group trip you will be exposed to all the pleasures and maybe some of the frustrations of travelling in a group. Your fellow travellers will probably come from all corners of the world and likely a range of age groups too. We ask you to be understanding of the various needs and preferences of your group - patience with your fellow travellers is sometimes required for the benefit of everyone's travel experience. Remember too that you have responsibilities to the group. If you are requested to be at a place at a certain time, ensure that you don't keep the rest of the group waiting. We have found time and time again that the very best trips we operate are those where the dynamics within the group work well - this takes just a little effort on your part. Due to privacy reasons, we are unable to provide you with contact details and any personal information about your fellow travellers booked on your trip prior to departure., PARTICIPATORY CAMPING Our Kimberley itineraries are ‘Participatory’ which means the groups rally together and assist the guide – our program is designed to foster a ’group of friends’ dynamic as everyone works together to make it all happen, alongside the leadership of an experienced Tour Leader. This not only makes for a fun adventure shared with like-minded travellers, but also enables us to provide affordable travel options in the Kimberley. On those nights where we are not staying in one of our fantastic private permanent campsites, it is important that travellers participate in setting up camp, though the Tour Leader and (where applicable on selected Kimberley trips) the Tour Host, will also be on hand to help – it is a team effort! The Tour Leader will always appreciate the assistance of one or two group members in preparing/clearing meals. It is essential that all our groups leave the camps they stay in as they found them for the next travellers – the Kimberley is a pristine wilderness and it is our responsibility to ensure it stays this way.

    Itinerary disclaimer

ITINERARY CHANGES Our itineraries are updated regularly throughout the year based on customer feedback and to reflect the current situation in each destination. The information included in this Essential Trip Information may therefore differ from when you first booked your trip. It's important that you review this information prior to travel so that you have the latest updates. Due to weather, local conditions, transport schedules, public holidays, political unrest or other factors, further changes may be necessary to your itinerary once in-country. Your group leader or local representative will keep you up to date with any such changes once your trip is underway and has the authority to amend or cancel any part of the trip itinerary if deemed necessary due to safety concerns. , GIBB RIVER ROAD During ‘the Wet’ most 4WD roads and National Parks in the Kimberley are closed, including the Gibb River Road which in the wet season turns into a fully flowing river. Due to the region being mostly inaccessible, we only operate these trips through the dry months, usually April until October. Departures during the shoulder season (usually April/early May and October) are at some risk of road and National Park closures. In most cases we will try and operate an amended itinerary, depending on the extent of the closures. We reserve the right to amend itineraries at short notice, during any time of the year. , ABORIGINAL & TORRES STRAIT ISLANDER CULTURAL EXPERIENCES & COMMUNITIES First Nations people have complex community obligations, and at times activities or experiences may be cancelled at late notice due to cultural commitments. In the case that we are unable to include planned activities with First Nations communities, we will endeavour to find a suitable alternative in the same or another destination on your trip.
