Hello and welcome to Colombia. You’ll meet your crew and kick things off with a welcome dinner at a local restaurant, with live music and Colombian flavours on the menu.
You’ll have a full day to get into Bogotá. We’ll start with an orientation of the city’s highlights, then you’ll have free time to explore at your own pace. Hit the museums, get a feel for the capital’s creative edge and dive intoits layers of history.
Buckle up for a full day of travel as we hop on a private transfer and make our way through the Andes towards Salento. This one’s all about the journey: mountain roads, changing landscapes, and watching the city give way to coffee country. Oh hello, Salento. We’ll roll into this colourful coffee town and settle in for the night.
We can’t leave Salento without a guided tour of a coffee plantation (and yes, there’ll be a tasting too). After that, the rest of the day will be yours to slow things down, soak up the town, and chill however you like.
Day trip time. We’ll jump into a classic Willy’s jeep and make our way to Cocora Valley. Home to the world’s tallest wax palms, this place fully earns the hype. We’ll head out on a guided hike through the valley, with towering trees and unreal scenery at every turn. Next up: Filandia, known for its cobblestoned streets and colourful facades. It’s beautifully preserved, easy to wander, and perfect for a slow stroll. Back in Salento, we’ll wrap up our final night with a wander around town and the chance to grab dinner with the crew.
Adiós, Salento. Today, we’ll hit the road and make our way to Medellín. Coffee-town calm will be out, city energy will be in. Welcome to the City of Eternal Spring. We’ll kick off with an orientation of the city’s highlights and get our first feel for this bold, ever-evolving place. Think green hills, big pace, and a city that knows how to reinvent itself.
Today, we’ll take on Comuna 13 — a place that’s transformed from a symbol of violence into a global example of social change. Now, its colourful murals, street art, music, and outdoor escalators turn the neighbourhood into a living gallery of hope, resilience, and creativity. After that, the rest of the day will be yours to keep exploring Medellín’s streets and get even deeper into the city’s energy.
Today, we’ll head out to the pretty town of Guatapé, where every street is lined with colourful zócalos (AKA hand-painted images that turn the front of each home into its own little work of art). We’ll check out Piedra del Peñol, a natural lookout with sweeping views over the reservoir and surrounding mountains. Next, we'll hop on a boat cruise across the Guatapé reservoir to see this place from a whole new angle. Expect big views, open water, and a day that’ll fully deliver on the scenery. After a long but seriously stunning day, we’ll head back to Medellín and tuck in for the night. Rest up — tomorrow, we’ll swap the mountains for the Caribbean coast.
Bye, Medellín. Santa Marta, here we come. Today, we’ll catch a flight north to the Caribbean coast. Welcome to Santa Marta, Colombia’s oldest city and your gateway to the coast. We’ll kick things off with an orientation and get our bearings in a place where colonial history meets sea views and mountain backdrops.
Today will be all about slowing things down. You’ll have free time to relax on the beach or explore Santa Marta’s historic centre at your own pace. Expect warm weather, an easygoing coastal feel, and a fully day of pure relaxation.
Santa Marta, you were a good time — but Tayrona’s calling our name. Today, we’ll trade the city for something way wilder. We’ll check out this UNESCO-recognised slice of paradise, where turquoise bays, jungle trails, and deep-rooted Indigenous heritage all come together. With a Local Guide leading the way, we’ll tick off beaches and lush tracks before settling into our rustic hotel in the heart of nature for dinner. It's remote, raw, and ridiculously good-looking.
After our time in Tayrona, we’ll hit the road and make our way to Cartagena for some old-world charm. Welcome to Cartagena. This walled Caribbean city will pull you straight in with its colonial streets, colourful facades, and energy in every square. And the best bit? We’ll have all day tomorrow to get into it.
We’ll check out Cartagena’s historic centre with a Local Guide, then the afternoon will be yours to explore the plazas, cafes, and artisan shops at your own pace. And no, we’re definitely not leaving Colombia without a salsa lesson — so that's what we'll be doing tonight.
You’ll have a free day to spend however you like. But if island time’s calling, you can jump on an optional boat trip to a small island off the coast, with crystal-clear water, snorkelling, ocean swims, pool hangs, and plenty of time to chill with the crew.
And just like that, our adventure has come to an end. Say one last goodbye to the crew, the colour, and the captivating country of Colombia.
