Day 1: Arrive Zurich

Arrive in Zurich and check into your hotel.

Day 2: Zurich

Explore Zurich on a tour, then visit Europe’s largest indoor festive market. See more than 150 stalls selling local handicrafts and admire the 50-foot-high Christmas tree.

Day 3: Zurich, Lucerne

Enjoy a scenic drive to Vitznau today, and on arrival, cruise stunning Lake Lucerne. Afterwards, check into your hotel in Lucerne.

Day 4: Lucerne

Tour Lucerne, then enjoy the Christmas markets in the afternoon.

Day 5: Lucerne, Basel, Embark Ship

Depart Lucerne for Basel, where you will take a highlights tour of the city before boarding your ship.

Day 6: Breisach

Visit the festive Christmas markets or Riquewihr or Freiburg. Alternatively, take a bike ride.

Day 7: Strasbourg

Perhaps visit Strasbourg’s Christmas market or take a bike ride. Then visit the Gengenbach Christmas market.

Day 8: Ludwigshafen, Rudesheim

Visit Heidelberg Christmas market, tour Speyer’s market or enjoy a hike. Later, arrive in Rudesheim and enjoy a visit to Siegfried’s Mechanical Musical Instrument Museum or sample some of their famous Rudesheimer coffee.

Day 9: Rudesheim, Lahnstein

Choose from a gondola ride, a bike tour or a vineyard hike. Later, cruise the scenic Rhine Gorge to Lahnstein, and tour Burg Lahneck this evening.

Day 10: Cologne

Disembark your ship for a guided tour that includes a visit to the impressive Christmas market at Cologne Cathedral. Other options include beer tasting and a bike tour.

Day 11: Amsterdam

Cruise Amsterdam's canals and explore the city.

Day 12: Depart Amsterdam

Be transferred to the airport.
