Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Kumarakom

Fly to Kochi before being transferred to your accommodation for the next three nights, Kumarakom Lake Resort. Spend the remainder of the day relaxing and exploring the 25 lush acres of your resort. Bordering Lake Vembanad in Kerala, the accommodation embraces Kerala's rich heritage while offering modern comforts. Boasting spacious rooms, a luxurious Ayurveda spa, pools and a health club, it is easy to relax and unwind during this three-night stay.

Day 2: Kumarakom

After breakfast, embark on a spectacular cruise, spending half a day on Lake Vembanad aboard a houseboat. Admire the elegant design of the vessel, inspired by a traditional rice barge with its upper sections constructed from woven natural materials including coir and bamboo. Relax as you soak in the surrounding landscape of lush paddy fields, colourful houses and traditional boats. Relish lakeside scenery of local life as children play along the banks and fisherman reel in their daily catch. Later, enjoy a delectable meal of local cuisine prepared by your onboard chef. Take the rest of the day to enjoy at leisure, perhaps to savour your included Ayurvedic massage.

Day 3: Kumarakom

The entire day is yours to take at leisure. You might like to recline and rejuvenate as you immerse yourself in the magnificent surrounds of your resort. Alternatively, discover the array of experiences available. Choose from guided village walk and a peaceful canal cruise, to exhilarating cycling tours and a romantic candle-lit dinner (own expense). Simply ask at reception and they will take care of everything for you.

Day 4: Depart Kumarakom

The time has come to bid farewell to your oasis of tranquillity with a transfer to the airport before you embark on your journey home.
