Day 1: Arrive Darwin
On arrival in Darwin, be transferred to your hotel and enjoy some free time to settle in to your accommodation. This evening, meet your fellow travellers, Tour Director, and Driver-Guide during a welcome dinner at Snapper Rocks restaurant.
Day 2: Darwin, Litchfield National Park, Adelaide River
Explore the stunning landscapes of Litchfield National Park, home to the famous Wangi Falls and Florence Falls, nestled within vibrant monsoon forest. Admire the cascading waterfalls, towering termite mounds, and diverse wildlife that make this region truly remarkable. After lunch, continue your journey to Katherine.
Tonight, check in to the Contour Hotel, your comfortable base for the evening, and enjoy a relaxed dinner as you unwind and reflect on a day immersed in the natural beauty of the Top End.
Day 3: Katherine, Lorella Springs Wilderness Lodge
On the way to Lorella Springs, stop at the picturesque Mataranka Thermal Pool, a natural oasis known for its warm, crystal-clear waters and tranquil surroundings. Take in the serene beauty of this iconic Outback location and admire the lush vegetation and peaceful setting.
Continue to Lorella Springs Wilderness Park, a vast one-million-acre working cattle station, where you’ll settle in and enjoy a hearty dinner on the property.
Day 4: Lorella Springs Wilderness Park
Explore the natural surrounds of Lorella Springs Wilderness Park today. Join your guide for a scenic walk through several of the park's trails and perhaps go for a dip in one of the waterholes or thermal springs. In the afternoon, embark on a scenic helicopter flight over the Lost City. This evening, watch the sunset over the property before enjoying dinner.

Board a scenic flight over the Lost City, a series of large sandstone outcrops that evoke the remains of an ancient civilisation.
Day 5: Lorella Springs Wilderness Park
Today, spend a full day exploring the vast landscapes of Lorella Springs Wilderness Park. Follow scenic bush tracks with your guide, spotting native wildlife and taking in the striking waterholes, woodlands, and wetlands. Learning about the station’s history.
Return to your accommodation for a relaxed dinner under the expansive Outback sky.
Day 6: Lorella Wilderness Park, Borroloola, Hell's Gate
After breakfast, travel to Borroloola and prepare for a scenic flight to Hell’s Gate. From the air, enjoy sweeping views of the savannahs, winding rivers, and vast Outback wilderness, taking in the scale and beauty of this remote region.
Day 7: Hell's Gate, Karumba
Today travel to Burke and Wills Camp 119, the northernmost campsite of the 1861 Burke and Wills expedition. Afterwards, visit Leichhardt Falls, a striking plunge waterfall on the Leichhardt River, where you can admire the dramatic scenery and may even spot a saltwater crocodile nearby.
This evening, enjoy a Croc and Crab Dinner Cruise, a unique dining experience where you can savour fresh, locally caught seafood while taking in the tranquil waters and rugged beauty of the Gulf Country at sunset.
Day 8: Karumba, Croydon
Journey to the historic goldrush town of Croydon, the heritage capital of the Gulf and visit the True Blue Interactive Information Centre. Take yourself on a self-guided walking tour of the Croydon town. Enjoy dinner at your hotel tonight.
Day 9: Cobbold Gorge
Discover Cobbold Gorge, hidden away within a spectacularly rugged sandstone formation. This morning, enjoy a boat cruise and tour through these narrow waterways as a guide points out the geological features of this incredible natural wonder. Remember to keep watch for the freshwater crocodiles.
Day 10: Cobbold Gorge, Undara Lava Tubes
After breakfast this morning, continue to Undara Volcanic National Park and set out on a guided discovery of the intriguing lava tubes.
Signature Experience – Undara Lava Tubes
Embark on the Archway Explorer tour through the mysterious Undara Lava Tubes. Be guided through the mesmerising lava tubes, the result of a volcanic eruption that spewed molten lava down a dry riverbed. The outer layer formed a crust, and when the lava below drained away, a series of long, hollow tubes remained.
Day 11: Undara, Millstream Falls, Herberton Historic Town, Cairns
Today, travel from Ravenshoe to Herberton and onwards to Cairns. Enjoy a visit and talk at Woodleigh Station, which is located within the surrounds of the quintessential Australian bush. Journey to the beautiful tiered waterfall, Millstream Falls. Later visit Herberton Historic Village before finishing the day in Cairns with a dinner at your hotel.
Day 12: Depart Cairns
Your adventure draws to a close after breakfast this morning. Be transferred to the airport for your onward flight.
