Day 1: Athens – Delphi (D)

This morning you will be collected from your hotel (or nearest point) for a two-day tour to some of Greece’s wonderful classical sights.

Drive through the fertile plain of Boeotia, crossing the towns of Thebes, Levadia and Arachova before arriving in Delphi, the centre of the Ancient World and site of the famous Oracle, whose advice was sought by states and individuals. Nestled on the slopes of Mount Parnassus, in a landscape of unparalleled beauty and majesty, lie the ruins of the Sanctuary of Apollo Pythios. Visit the Treasury of the Athenians, the Temple of Apollo and the Museum containing such masterpieces of Ancient Greek sculpture as the bronze Charioteer. Afternoon at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay in Delphi.

Day 2: Delphi – Athens (B)

After breakfast you have the morning at leisure to explore and experience more of Delphi’s breathtaking mountain views. This afternoon, drive back to Athens, arriving at approx. 7:00pm.
Note: Accommodation tonight is not included.
