Accommodation

Day 1: Milan

Welcome to Milan. You will meet your driver at the airport in the arrivals hall, then be transferred to your hotel for a three-night stay. The remainder of the day is at leisure.

Day 2: Milan – Bernina Express – Milan (B)

After breakfast, depart for the elegant alpine resort of St. Moritz. Take time to explore this famous Swiss mountain town before boarding the iconic Bernina Express. Travel through spectacular UNESCO-listed landscapes as the train winds across dramatic mountain passes, glacial scenery, tunnels and charming alpine villages en route to Tirano. Meet your driver on arrival and return to Milan for overnight.

Day 3: Milan (B & local food experience)

This morning is free for independent exploration. In the afternoon, join your local guide for a walking tour through the historic heart of Milan. Discover elegant Porta Venezia, stroll through the Indro Montanelli Gardens and admire landmarks including Teatro alla Scala, the magnificent Duomo and Castello Sforzesco. Conclude with a classic Milanese aperitivo accompanied by local specialties before returning independently to your hotel.

Day 4: Milan – Santa Margherita Ligure – Portofino – Sestri Levante – La Spezia (B, Local Food Experience with Wine Tasting)

Travel south into the beautiful Ligurian coastline. Stop in elegant Santa Margherita Ligure before boarding a short boat ride to glamorous Portofino, renowned for its colourful harbour, boutique atmosphere and Mediterranean charm. Continue to Sestri Levante for a regional wine and food tasting experience before arriving in La Spezia for a two-night stay.

Day 5: La Spezia – Cinque Terre – La Spezia (B)

Today explore the spectacular Cinque Terre, one of Italy’s most scenic coastal regions. Discover a collection of colourful seaside villages nestled between rugged cliffs and terraced vineyards overlooking the Mediterranean. Spend time soaking up the atmosphere, strolling through narrow laneways and admiring unforgettable coastal views before returning to La Spezia.

Day 6: La Spezia – Maranello – Ferrari Museum – Modena – Venice (B & local food experience)

Depart inland to Maranello, home of the legendary Ferrari brand. Visit the Ferrari Museum and discover the history, innovation and passion behind Italy’s most iconic automotive name. Continue to the Modena countryside to visit a traditional acetaia and learn the art of producing authentic balsamic vinegar, followed by a regional lunch. Continue to your Venice hotel for a two-night stay.

Day 7: Venice (B & local food experience)

Transfer into the heart of Venice and discover its most famous landmarks on a guided walking tour. Visit the magnificent Doge’s Palace and see the legendary Bridge of Sighs while uncovering the city’s fascinating history. Conclude with a Venetian spritz or prosecco paired with traditional cicchetti before spending the afternoon at leisure.

Day 8: Venice (B)

This morning you will be transferred to Venice Airport for your onward flight.
