From the steam rising above Bath’s ancient Roman pools to your first sip of Guinness in Dublin, you’ll cross England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland by road and sea. Wander among the formidable walls of Edinburgh Castle and look up at the great Romanesque exterior of Durham Cathedral. In York, the timber-framed buildings of the medieval Shambles lean over narrow lanes, while at Hadrian’s Wall you’ll stand beside the former frontier of the Roman Empire.
